Patrick Elaschuk

Pastor of International Missions

As the Pastor of International Missions, Patrick leads Tenth in engaging the church with our long-term missions strategy, which includes connecting the talent of Tenth people with our mission partners locally and around the world, especially Cambodia where Tenth has a long-term commitment.

Patrick has been involved in global justice issues for more than 20 years, mostly in Asia.  While pioneering Hope for the Nations Philippines in a slum community with his wife, Inneke, and two daughters, he was confronted with issues related to extreme poverty, war, and trafficking.  That started a quest for him to align with people and partners that are making an impact by standing up for voiceless and invisible children and developing sustainable enterprises for communities.

The Elaschuks enjoy the benefits of living on the North Shore while loving the social and environmental aspects of Vancouver. When not involved with missions, you can likely find Patrick and Inneke starting off the day with dim sum followed by making some homemade natural soap for the family business. Patrick really likes his family, reading, hiking, racquet sports, the Seahawks, and having Cambodian soup and iced coffee for breakfast with friends in Cambodia.
