Debbie Hawker

Born in Singapore, the traditional lands of the Orang Laut people, Debbie was raised on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh, Squamish, and Stó:lō Coast Salish peoples. She serves as Executive Pastor and is responsible for the leadership and management of Tenth Church.

For nearly two decades, Debbie has followed God’s calling into a variety of non-profit settings, working alongside teams to grow in resilience and unity. A learner at heart, her collaborative approach is grounded in stewardship, long-term sustainability, and thoughtful planning that turns vision into action.

Debbie finds delight in good food, meaningful conversation, steeping loose-leaf tea, tending organic gardens, exploring farmers’ markets, commuting on her bicycle, embracing Sabbath and friendship as sacred practices, and caring for creation alongside her young family.
