Dear Tenth family,
As you read this edition of Global News, you will be moved by some of Patrick's reflections on Beirut, Lebanon, and how we can stand in solidarity with those impacted by the devasting explosion last week. You will also hear from Aldrin, who travelled to Cambodia on a Justice Journey last year and was inspired to take action when God showed him His heart for justice. I'm excited to share a story with you about spending some time camping in the Gulf Islands with some newcomers to Canada. Also in this newsletter, there is an invitation to participate in a time of prayer and fellowship with some of our partners in Cambodia tonight! Through these stories and prayer requests, may you be uplifted and inspired to fight for justice in your local and global community. With God, for others, Holly

First ThingHere are 5 items for your prayer consideration: The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know. Pray especially for rulers and their governments to rule well so that we can be quietly about our business of living simply in humble contemplation. This is the way our Saviour God wants us to live. 1 Timothy 1:1-3 For more infomation visit:

Moved by GenerosityAldrin's Justice Journey Story Cambodia has been a special place in my heart ever since I stepped foot there last summer on a Justice Journey with Creo, Tenth's youth and young adult ministry. The country is full of beautiful people, amazing food, vibrant culture, and is a place that God's heart has compassion on... For more infomation visit:

Going Camping in CanadaWhen tides turn Last week, some newcomers to Canada and some friends from Tenth spent some time on Thetis Island, making memories at Pioneer Pacific Camp. We spent the week sharing meals together, kayaking, swimming, doing archery, and spending time by the ocean. For many of the women, these were totally new experiences. It was so exciting to be part of this first experience of camp, to witness the rest and wonder that are so present in spending time on one of BC’s gulf islands... For more infomation visit:
