'The world needs more Canada,'  said music artist Bono from U2 at a Global Fund conference years ago.  I would add that the world could use more Canadians who are surrendered to God and in so doing, share their lives and resources for His local and global purposes.  As we serve one another in love, 'may our glowing hearts see thee rise, The True North strong and free!'  May we use our freedom as a catalyst for others who are oppressed.

I received this greeting from an Afghan friend, who gave me permission to share.

Happy Day of Canada! 24 hours of reminding each other about those who offered their deepest generosity, unconditional support, and the kindest hospitality to their offspring and loved ones of those who had to rescue their lives while Canadians layered their heartfelt genuine support unwaveringly to share their lands and resources so that everyone co-exists with love, peace, and care. This day is a good excuse to celebrate our togetherness and grow side by side under the healing power of both indigenous wisdom keepers, and the spiritual diversity of settlers.  Basir

Ruler supreme, who hearest humble prayer, Hold our dominion within thy loving care; Help us to find, O God, in thee A lasting, rich reward, As waiting for the Better Day, We ever stand on guard

A verse from our original Canadian Anthem.
