Raw Hope in Afghanistan

Afghanistan is a primarily agricultural country in Central Asia, producing some of the world's best pomegranates, grapes, and sweet melons. The country has been in an ongoing conflict with the Taliban since 2001, a radical political group that has waged all-out war against the government and taken control of many parts of the country.

Tenth Church is supporting the work of World Vision Afghanistan through Senior Pastor Ken Shigematsu’s Book Fund and support from the Tenth Community.   

Funds have been going to provide for some of the most impoverished families in the Herat Province with food, soap, and basic instructions and necessities to help keep them safe from COVID-19.
