Good morning Cambodia, rise and shine breakfast at 7AM! (Technically I was woken up around 5:30AM by the Buddhist monks’ chanting). After breakfast we hopped onto a boat and went to explore the Floating Village with Minea and Pastor Seila. We stopped at two different classrooms (also can be used as a church) at the Floating Village filled with Vietnamese children. In addition to learning Khmer and Vietnamese, they study the bible with their teacher. The children were so adorable, they recited Bible songs to us full of energy. It was such an eye-opening experience to visit a Sunday School environment classroom in a tiny village out on the river of Cambodia.

After our short yet pleasant boat trip, Minea and Pastor Seila showed us how pottery was handmade at Undong Resey Village. Got a chance to pick up some beautiful handmade potteries to bring back home! To see how the Khmer woman step by step molding the clay to the final product, I can definitely relate how God is continuing to mold me throughout Cambodia.

In the afternoon we organized games, art, and English-teaching workshop back at the Light for Living Church. Time went by quickly because I was having way too much fun laughing and playing games, that it was time for some of us to head over to another school for English lessons. Jose, Charlotte, Lovelle, Felicia, and I helped out at the Grace School Centre. My students are intermediate level, and wow was I surprised what intermediate meant. First lesson yesterday we talked about “What does success mean to you?” – so yes they are absolutely intermediate level! Saying goodbye to my students was hard, even though I got to know them for two days, they really made me feel welcomed and loved.

In the evening was our worship and devotion back at Dove, where it’s great to end off our day worshiping the Lord. Tonight’s time with God has helped me reflect that God’s love is forever and He is faithful. I have been so blessed on my journey here in Cambodia, that I can’t believe it’s only three more days till we head back!

Thank you for your prayers and love for our team. We’re coming home soon and we have way to many memories / stories to share with you all!
