In his Confession, St. Patrick wrote about his time as a slave in Ireland, I would pray all the time, right through the day. More and more the love of God and fear of him grew strong within me, and as my faith grew, so the Spirit became more and more active. As we spend time with God in prayer, may we also grow in our faith so that the Spirit becomes more active in us and in all our global partnerships.    

The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know. Pray especially for rulers and their governments to rule well so that we can be quietly about our business of living simply in humble contemplation. This is the way our Saviour God wants us to live. 1 Timothy 1:1-3

Here are 5 items for your prayer consideration: 

  1. Refugees and Displaced People - Ukraine, Syria, Lebanon where Tenth has partners.  Afghanistan and Afghans in Canada - Peace, protection, restoration, provision, redemption, and hope.
  2. Cambodia - Pray for faithfulness and fruitfulness with Tenth's partnerships.
  3. Tenth's 25 Global Workers and 15 Global Partners – Pray for all the staff and leadership in 13 countries.
  4. Mexico – Pray for Rancho El Camino in La Paz.
  5. Türkiye and Syria – Ongoing relief and development in the aftermath of the earthquakes, our main partner is World Vision. 

Scripture Prayer:  from last Cambodia Prayer Time, Psalm 28:7-9

  • Yahweh is my strength and my wraparound shield.  
  • When I fully trust in you, help is on the way.  
  • I jump for joy and burst forth with ecstatic, passionate praise!
  • I will sing songs of what you mean to me!
  • You will be the inner strength of all your people, Yahweh, the mighty protector of all, and the saving strength for all your anointed ones.
  • Save your people whom you love, and bless your chosen ones.
  • Be our shepherd leading us forward, forever carrying us in your arms!
