At Tenth, there are 2 big rocks in our jar of global priorities: Cambodia and Refugees.  We have many meaningful global partnerships with global workers and mission enterprises, but we invest the first fruits of our time and resources in resourcing our 10 Cambodia partnerships and our relationships walking alongside refugees in Greater Vancouver and the Middle East/Central Asia.

Cambodia:  Over the past couple of weeks, I have had significant Zoom meetings and prayer times with several of our global partners, which has increased our team’s enthusiasm for our upcoming Justice Journeys.  “It was a rich time for me brother, to talk with you and pray with Ana and Wanda (global team members), I’m not alone. Shalom to you and Inneke (my wife), ‘, shared Makara (Tenth’s Liaison in Phnom Penh) from a WhatsApp text I received this morning.  Join us for our next Cambodia prayer meeting when we will feature Makara and his wife Serey (Onyx Director with DOVE).  Indeed, we are not alone!

Refugee Support:  Wow is a word that sums up the last month of Refugee support.  Incredible stories are coming out of Newcomers camp, dozens are our families are advancing in their claims to become protected citizens of Canada and we are overwhelmingly grateful for the financial support that came in for Refugee Friendship Month in June.  Join us for a Refugee Support Update and Prayer time Thursday, July 13.

Ultimately, God is our true and mighty Rock.  Let me leave you with one of my formational scriptures.

Yes, my soul, find rest in God;  my hope comes from him.  Truly he is my rock and my salvation;  he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.  My salvation and my honor depend on God[c];  he is my mighty rock, my refuge.  Trust in him at all times, you people;  pour out your hearts to him,  for God is our refuge.  Psalm 62:5-5

By grace, may we experience His rest and hope this summer.
