Babies & Toddlers

For babies and toddlers under 2 years old, we offer a volunteer-staffed nursery. This space is available to parents with restless babies as early as 10:15, but the volunteers arrive around 10:35. Our nursery time does not include a structured curriculum—just lots of time to play!

Like our nursery, our room for 2 and 3-year-olds is volunteer-staffed at 10:35. We strongly encourage parents to have their kids join our worship in the sanctuary beforehand. This group follows an age-appropriate curriculum with Bible lessons, activities, games, and snacks.

Preschool & School Age

For children ages 4 to grade 5, we use curriculum that provides easy-to-learn Bible lessons to help them grow in their faith. We use hands-on activities like games, the arts, and object lessons to reach every child, respecting that each child has a unique temperament and learning style. From September to June, these age groups gather together downstairs for their own worship time, beginning at 10:15.

Following the kids' worship time, children are divided into two groups:

  • Preschool (ages 4 to 5 or not yet in grade 1)
  • Tenth Kids (grades 1 through 5)

A typical morning includes:

  • play
  • worship through music
  • Bible-based teaching response activities—prayer, arts and crafts, and games
  • a snack
  • community building activities
