At Tenth UBC Pt Grey we believe in creating a welcoming and safe learning environment for families and kids. When you spend a morning with us, a Tenth Kids host will be ready to meet you and help your family sign in. If it’s your first time, our host is there to help you register and be on your way. If you’ve visited with us before, just enter your phone number into our self-serve check-in system and print off your label.
Children stay with their families for the music portion of our service. After the announcements, we dismiss our kids to meet their teachers at the side doors to go to their classes. Children will play, sing, learn about God, and enjoy a snack together. Once the service has ended, you can make your way to the class to sign out your child. During the service, should you see your ID number on the front screen we ask that you head to your child’s class to tend to the need at hand.
Babies & Toddlers
We offer a parent-participation nursery located in the room beside our preschool class. We also have the option for you to sit with your little one and still catch the service with screen and audio available in our lobby area. A baby change table is available in the handicap washroom down the hallway.
Preschool & Kindergartend
We offer a preschool/kindergarten class on the main level – our teachers are there to engage with your kids, enjoy interactive playtime and share Biblical stories and truths that kids can understand and apply in their lives.
School Age
Classes for children in grades 1 to 5 are located on the upper level (stairs in the lobby). This class is interactive, and our teachers engage kids in conversation, helping them to navigate their faith. We believe that investing in kids at any age is important and our teachers work to build meaningful relationships with those who join us.
If your child is in a wheelchair and needs assistance, an elevator is available to service the 2nd floor.
