Tenth's relationships with refugees in Vancouver has been growing deeper and wider over the last year. Because of this, we are creating new ways for the Tenth community to get more meaningfully engaged.
To discuss these opportunities, we invite you to join us for this Refugee Support information time. We will talk about a few emerging opportunities: Taste of Community groups, Conversation Café and Welcome Teams.
- Taste of Community groups - be part of a mutual learning affinity group including refugee friends.
- Conversation Café – participate in gatherings (zoom for now) where volunteers and newcomers go through simple discussions around topics that are practical and foster trust-building.
- Welcome Teams – rolling up our sleeves and providing practical help in refugee support.
