Tenth Kids: Sept 2019
The "church" comes from a word that means the called. The church is not a building, but a group of people called to be children of God. We are not a cold, unmoving structure, but a living, breathing, and ACTing people. Our focus this year, as the called, is to answer the questions: Who is the church? What are we called to?
We will focus on a new theme each month, following: "Called to (be) ________," and September's theme is "Called to Belong." Where are the places that we belong? Who else belongs there? Who belongs in the church?
Our September memory verse is:
"See what amazing love the Father has given us! Because of it, we are called children of God. And that’s what we really are!" 1 John 3:1
