As Jade Holownia transitions into his role as Lead Site Pastor for our new location in East Vancouver, we're excited to welcome Andrew Cheung to our staff team to provide leadership to our Mount Pleasant location.
Andrew trained as a Mechanical Engineer at UBC before working as an Operations Analyst at Air Canada and as a Project Coordinator for a German aerospace multi-national. He returned to complete theological studies at Regent College (MDiv) and is a recent graduate of Arrow Leadership, a Christian leadership development program. A constant learner, he enjoys conversations with almost anyone about almost anything. Most of all, he loves to look for glimmers of God’s grace at work in the lives of people.
Andrew, his wife—Julia, a freelance writer—and their two children, Ashley and Evan, are often seen roaming the streets of Vancouver on their bikes or hiking the trails of the North Shore. At home, you will find that Andrew enjoys being a big kid with his kids. Together as a family, they are often working on “redemption projects.” Ask them about those they have on the go.
