Since opening its doors in the fall of 2011, LiveWire has been a free after-school drop-in program for grade 5-7 students in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood. LiveWire provides a safe environment for local kids to develop a healthy vision for their lives by learning positive behaviours and life skills, and by building friendships with peers and adults. We do this by taking part in games, activities, crafts, uplifting conversations, and sharing a meal together.

LiveWire is open 3-6pm every Friday from September through June while school is in session. Students are transported from Florence Nightingale Elementary School to LiveWire then home.

This is a great opportunity to come alongside and mentor kids in the neighbourhood!
