Jay to Thunder Bay

Jay Ewing, our Pastor of Spiritual Formation, has accepted a new position in Thunder Bay, Ontario at Redwood Park Church.  

Jay has faithfully served in the Tenth community for the past 7.5 years as Site Pastor for the Evening Service (6 years) and, most recently, as Pastor of Spiritual Formation (1.5 years). We are deeply grateful for Jay’s fruitful ministry among us, as well as his leadership in and support for the Tenth community. We are sad to see him leave but are also excited for him as he prepares for this new ministry opportunity.  

Jay and his wife Milissa will both be starting new pastoral roles at Redwood Park Church in Ontario. Milissa will be serving as the Executive Pastor, and Jay will be serving as Pastor of Spiritual Formation. They are excited about the church’s desire to meaningfully engage in Indigenous reconciliation, including planting churches in smaller Northern Ontario communities.  

Please pray that Jay and Milissa and their two daughters, Aida and Claire, will experience God’s grace and peace as they make the cross country move into a new home and church.
