 "Lord, Teach Us to Pray."

It is the only thing the early disciples of Jesus are recorded to have asked Jesus to teach them. Why? Because they could see that Jesus' whole ministry - healing, teaching, justice-advocating - emerges out of His relationship with the One He calls "Father," and that the key to that relationship is pray; Jesus is always slipping away to pray. In this seminar with Darrell Johnson, we will look more carefully at Jesus' response to the request, including reflecting further on the Lord's Prayer.

Darrell W. Johnson is a good, longtime friend of Tenth Church. A popular conference and retreat speaker, he has also served as the preaching pastor for a number of congregations in North America and the Philippines and Adjunct Professor of Preaching for the Doctor of Ministry program at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. His other books include Experiencing the Trinity and Discipleship on the Edge: An Expository Journey through the Book of Revelation.

This event is free. No registration is required.
