Life in the Margins is a weekend workshop hosted by Jacob's Well. We will explore God’s heart for people living in the margins of society. We will examine stories from the Bible and share our experiences from life in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver. Together we will wrestle with questions like:
What is marginalization?
Is God biased towards folks living in poverty?
Are we called to save people?
What is the difference between mercy and justice?
What is the gospel?
We hope that this workshop will spark your imagination as you live out God’s call to love people pushed to the margins of your own neighbourhood, school, church, or workplace.
The workshop costs $20 upon registration or $25 at the door. Lunch is included.
