A rich feast of Christmas readings and music by Ron Reed and Michael Hart.
This year we’ve devised a warm and intimate Christmas celebration especially for the Tenth Church community, a delicious mix of stories and poetry, songs and carols that mixes brand new inventions with familiar favourites, ranging from the heartfelt to the hilarious.

Kids are welcome to stay with their adults, but limited, free childcare is also available for kids at our matinees, with pre-registration. Please register here.

Ron Reed

Ron Reed founded Pacific Theatre in 1984 after graduating from the acting program at the California Institute of the Arts.  An actor, writer, director, and teacher, Ron retired from his position of Artistic Director to become a full-time artist, dilettante, flaneur, dabbler, enthusiast, and grandfather.  Ron continues to teach the Vocation of the Artist Seminar at Regent College, his one-man adaptation of A Christmas Carol is being produced at Rosebud Theatre this December, and he will act in “How The World Began” at Pacific Theatre in March.  Tune in to Ron’s Soul Food Ghost Light podcast, where a late-night disk jockey spins records and stories, broadcasting from a pirate radio station somewhere off the coast of British Columbia - available wherever you get your podcasts.

Michael Hart

Michael Hart is a seasoned recording artist. He has recorded nine albums, including a delightful Christmas CD. His latest release, "ONE", came out during Covid (May 2020). He's been well reviewed in both faith and secular publications.

Between 2015-2020 he created a brand new music program as the Music Director-Chaplain for men recovering from addictions in Downtown Eastside Vancouver. He's also been hired by two churches to help coordinate their worship and arts. With a tenor soulful voice supported by a picking guitar style spanning pop, celtic to blues,

Ron & Michael have worked on Christmas events together for 28 years! www.michaelhart.ca
