In addition to our partnership in Cambodia, Tenth helps support many missionaries, local and international. Many people often think that being a missionary means dropping everything, moving to a far away land, and integrating into an entirely new community. Did you know that we have many missionaries right here in Vancouver? We would like to take a minute to introduce you to just a few of our international and local missionaries.

Meet our Missionaries

  Felix and Jessica Chan

Felix and Jessica serve on the UBC campus in Vancouver as part of Power to Change – Students.  Their mission as part of Power to Change is to help students discover and be transformed by Jesus, and then transform the world.

Felix currently serves as the campus lead at UBC, with over 150 students involved each year.

  Jennifer Singh

Jennifer serves in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia as part of EWAR (Ellilta Women at Risk). Jennifer facilitates a prevention and church engagement program for human-trafficking and prostitution, equipping local churches to respond to the needs of trafficked and prostituted women and children.

She develops curriculum, and provides biblical and theological training that addresses the stigma of this subject in the church.

  Glen and Lorraine

Glen and Lorraine Bueckert serve with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), an organization focused on making God known globally through the mobilization of youth and adults to serve the many needs around the world. Glen coaches multiple hockey camps for children and teens in B.C, China, and Russia. Through these camps, children and teens grow not only in their skill of hockey but also mentally, socially, and spiritually. Lorraine works as a teacher in an offshore school in China, teaching B.C school curriculum English, Socials Studies, and Communications to Chinese students.
