At Christmas, we are reminded of the great gift that enables us to experience life itself as a precious gift.

In the words of the Apostle Paul, God, though rich, for our sake voluntarily became poor as a human being in Jesus, so that we through his poverty might become rich (2 Corinthians 8:9). Rich in all the ways that matter most: rich in relationship to God, rich in relationship with a new family of sisters and brothers, rich in gratitude, rich in opportunities to serve and give.

This Christmas, we pray you would know and savour Christ’s joy and peace. If you feel gratitude for this greatest of gifts, in this season of giving, would you consider making a special year-end offering?

As we approach the end of our calendar year, we find ourselves somewhat behind our giving targets. Your giving will enable us to finish our calendar year in a strong place and position us to continue pointing people to Christ. It will enable us to offer opportunities for people to be formed more deeply in Christ and to help serve those who have fallen on hard times—including those without homes and new Canadians seeking places of refuge. If you yourself are in a place where our church could provide financial assistance, please let one of our pastors know.

Thank you for your participation in our faith community and for your role in the ongoing Christmas story.
