Soul Trios are an intentional community for maturing believers desiring to support others with spiritual companionship. The Soul Trio would meet monthly, for 9 months from February 2022 to October 2022, either online or in person, for a 90min session which is primarily reflective silence, prayerful noticing, and asking each other questions that support spiritual attentiveness. It is NOT a space for discussing theology, offering your thoughts or suggestions, or trying to fix problems.
Soul Trios are intended for people who have been believers for several years and are desiring to grow in contemplative listening. Training is provided, but familiarity with Spiritual Direction or Spiritual Formation is very helpful. Reading either of Ken Shigematsu's Books, God in My Everything or The Survival Guide for the Soul, and following some of the disciplines in them for a season is recommended before applying for Soul Trios. Generally, applicants should have completed one or more of the other Spiritual Formation Courses at Tenth such as Emotionally Healthy Spirituality, Relationships, or Discipleship.
In order to be admitted into a Soul Trio, all applicants must...
1) Fill out the Soul Trios Application form by January 31
2) Attend this Info and Training session.
3) Attend the Demonstration and Discussion Night (January 31).
Acceptance into the program and trio formation will be determined between January 24-31.
