Whether you are newer to the tenth community or you have been coming for a while, we invite you to join us for a weekend away at a beautiful camp surrounded by trees and mountains. This is a great opportunity to get to know the community at a deeper level by hearing each other’s stories, hanging out with new and old friends and praying together. For many, the retreat is a highlight of the year and we would love for you to join us. We will have both organized activities as well as free times to enjoy the surrounding nature.

ACTIVITIES:

Indoor rock climbing, adventure zipline, low ropes, volleyball, basketball, gaga pit, soccer, playground, hiking, swimming at the lake, board games, eating together, sharing stories.

LOCATION:

Stillwood Camp and Conference Center - 44005 Watt Rd, Lindell Beach, BC V2R 4X9

WHAT TO BRING:

Sleeping bag or bedding, pillow, towel, toiletries, a pair of indoor shoes, a pair of outdoor shoes, Bible, pen, and notebook

ACCOMMODATIONS:
The two options are
1. Standard group accommodation in the Balsam Lodge with rooms of up to 5 people and shared bathrooms. A family could stay together in one of these rooms if they are okay with sharing a bathroom with others.
2. Motel rooms, which each have a private bathroom. These are ideal for couples, families, or someone seeking a private room. If a couple or family would like to stay in a motel room, one person needs to register with the "motel room" option and the other needs to register with the "additional person in a motel room" option.

MEALS:

  • What is included: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday, along with breakfast on Sunday. Snacks on Friday and Saturday evening.
  • What is not included: You will need to get your own dinner on Friday and your own lunch on Sunday, which you will typically get on the way there and back.

TRANSPORTATION:

Everyone is ultimately responsible to find their own way of getting to Stillwood. If you are able to help drive people there, please do so. Many people do not have their own vehicle. If you are struggling to find a ride, let us know and we can try to find a ride for you, but we can't guarantee it.
