Jason Cheung

Jason is the Site Pastor for our Oakridge site. He has a heart to connect with people where they are, pointing them to the sure, gentle, and life-changing love of Jesus.

Born in Vancouver, Jason's spiritual formation began as a child when his mom taught him to pray at his bedside. Though mostly disinterested in faith while growing up, he discovered in his late teen years that God was pursuing him—an experience that changed his life. Jason studied sociology at the University of British Columbia and later prepared for pastoral ministry at Regent College.

Jason is married to his love, Josephine, and together they share in the joy of raising their three children. He enjoys coffee with friends,  sometimes cheers for the Canucks, and delights in stumbling upon poems that speak what he cannot.
