At Tenth, part of our vision is to be a place of healing for the broken, knowing that as humans we all have broken places in our lives in need of God's healing.
We believe the Jesus' ministry is one of Holistic Healing, where he does not come only to heal us physically, but spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and socially. He has come to bring deep healing to our humanity through the redemption of our sins, healing to our relationships by reconciling us back into community, and inner healing for our spirits and souls.
The vision of Healing Ministries is to provide a place of safety and care for people in their journeys towards holistic healing. To provide spaces for authenticity and togetherness, to encounter Jesus and experience his healing presence in our brokenness, and to allow his spirit to transform us into a new creation.
The vision of Healing Ministries is rooted in the scripture Revelations 21:5 - 'And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” At Tenth we desire to be a community that reflects this vision of holistic healing.
The Journey: Authentic - Encounter - Transform
As we pursue authenticity, we are challenged to come to Christ in our nakedness, vulnerabilities and brokenness. Through authenticity we recognize our need and our flawed humanity. John 4:24 In this Truth, we open ourselves to encountering the dynamic presence of our Living God. Through this encounter, we recognize and experience how Jesus is bringing healing to the broken, freedom to the captives, comfort for the broken-hearted, and joy for those who mourn, as the scripture speaks of in Isaiah 61. As we journey with Jesus, and our community through this process of healing, refinement and discipleship, there is renewal, and transformation.
At Tenth we hope to be a community that cultivates movement towards Christ's call to renewal—2 Corinthians 3:18.
