Catlin Allen, our Pastor of Student Ministry has accepted a new position as an Executive Pastor at a church in Langley. Catlin has faithfully served in the Tenth community for the past 12 years, leading Creo, our youth and young adult ministry. While we are excited for him as he anticipates this new ministry opportunity, we are also sad to see him go. Catlin has blessed our community in so many ways with his gift of storytelling, sense of humour, and his deep passion for leading youth to the Lord. We will miss his energetic spirit fuelled by weightlifting and protein!  We are deeply grateful for Catlin’s faithful and fruitful service among us and we thank God for his leadership and contributions to Tenth Family Ministries.  Please pray that Catlin and his family will experience God’s grace and peace at their new church.

Pedro Escamilla, our Pastor of Youth Discipleship will be leaving Tenth to pursue his Masters degree as well as some ministry opportunities in Edmonton. Pedro has been instrumental in coordinating the onboarding of new volunteer leaders, writing devotionals for Creo, and helping students become followers of Christ. We are grateful for Pedro’s quiet faithfulness – always willing to serve where needed, and for the help, he has been to so many youths, staff, and families. Please also pray for Pedro as he embarks on his new ministry journey.

We will be looking for a new Pastor of Student Ministry and also to add more staff to the Youth Ministries team soon. Catlin and Pedro left big shoes to fill!
