Tenth Kids in June 2019
There are a lot of competing messages that we all hear today that shape our identities: You have to be smart enough. You have to be strong enough. You have to be beautiful enough. We are told that our identities are not fixed – that they ebb and flow with the changing tides of culture and trends. That is not the message from our Creator. God is smart enough, strong enough and beautiful enough. He is unchanging. HE is enough and through his grace, WE are made enough. This month concludes our “I am _________” annual theme. Take this opportunity to speak God’s truth into the lives of your children. Replace the lies that say they are not good enough and replace them with declarations of being loved, valued, and, as God said in Genesis 1, very good.
