Do we want our kids to be followers? Culture dictates that we should raise our kids to be leaders, not followers. Ironically, we live in a world where we are called to follow trends, follow twitter feeds, and follow ever-changing cultural norms. Is anyone feeling anxious in this paradigm? Take a deep breath and ask yourself: who or what do you want your kids to follow? Our memory verse this month gives us a simple answer, “‘Come and follow me,’ Jesus said.” Exhale and follow along as we learn about the Caller and what it means to be His follower.

Please partner with us at home to see a new generation of lifelong followers of Jesus.

1. Follow along in your Family Devotional Calendar. If you don’t have one, pick one up on Sunday!
2. Learn our ASL Memory Verse with Pastor Dan Matheson.
3. Sing our memory verse together: Matthew 4:19, as written and recorded by Pastor Marissa Ochoa (download and sing it at home, in your car, or as you play!)
