Christ, according to our friend Rev. Jason Byasee, is “not just great and holy but little and lowly. And since our neighbour’s desire is the most important thing in shaping ours, God becomes our neighbour. In one of Eugene Peterson’s truly inspired translations, ‘The Word became flesh, and moved into the neighbourhood...’ That is the high point, the climax, the heart, of the Christian Bible: the Word is made flesh to love us into being a new humanity.”

Walk through the nativity story with the kids as we look at neighbourhoods and neighbours and what God is calling us to in this season.
