The Easter Story may be a familiar story for kids who have grown up in the church; however, it may be sensitive for the kids who may be hearing it for the first time. It is the saddest, but also the most joyful story. For our youngest kids, it is good to focus on the joy. We celebrate God’s never stopping, never giving up, unbreaking, always and forever love. We celebrate how this love was packaged up into a man named Jesus, who came to find his lost sheep. He came to rescue us by doing a really hard thing. And it is finished.

April Memory Verse:

"I will search for the lost. I will bring back those who have wandered away. I will bandage the ones who are hurt. I will make the weak ones stronger." Ezekiel 34:16a
