As followers of Christ, we believe God’s love knows no bounds. God came down in human form and moved into the neighborhood in the person of Jesus (John 1). He healed the sick, nourished the hungry, and dismantled systems of injustice.

Jesus said, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me…  Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ (Matthew 25:35-36;40)

As a community dedicated to following the way, truth, and life of Jesus, we are committed to reflecting such a life through the practice of generous hospitality towards all.

As the weather turns cooler, we are preparing to open up the Winter Shelter at Tenth Church in Mt Pleasant, in parthership with our friends at Lookout Housing and Health Society.
