Tenth Preschool (Ages 3 to K-1) will be learning all about how Jesus was a great teacher! The kids will be focusing on three components from the Sermon on the Mount: God's Kingdom, the Lord's Prayer, and the parable of the Wise and Foolish Builders. Here are some things you can do at home to reinforce the lesson:

  • TALK about the Lord's Prayer with your child and what each line means and then pray it together.
  • DRAW a picture of what God's Kingdom could look like with your child.
  • PLAY with (Kinetic) sand and show how the shifting sand would not be a good foundation and how Jesus' teachings are a solid foundation just like a house built on a rock.

Our memory verse for this month is "You call me 'Teacher' and 'Lord.'...That is what I am" (John 13:13 NIRV)
