  • Butterfly Longitudinal Research: hearing from survivors to better understand the issues and gaps of rehabilitation and reintegration into society.

Canada, NE Asia, Russia - Youth With A Mission

Glen & Lorraine Bueckert serve with YWAM, an organization focused on making God known globally through the mobalization of youth and adults to serve the many needs around the world. Glen coaches multiple hockey camps for children and teens in BC, China, and Russia. Through these camps, children and teens grow not only in their skill of hockey, but also mentally, socially, and spiritually. Lorraine works as a teacher in an offshore school in China, teaching BC school curriculum English, Social Studies, and Communications to Chinese students.

Macedonia - Evangelical Church Soulcraft

Nikola & Anet Galevski are the founders of the Evangelical Church Soulcraft, a vibrant and growing church in the heart of Skopje, Macedonia. They have a heart for church planting, leadership development, teaching, and the orphaned. Anet also runs a non-governmental organization (NGO) focused on music and the arts, investing in musicians and worship leaders, as well as providing scholarships for upcoming Christian artists and orphans.

Queenie is A Rocha's Community Garden Mobilizer, and in her role she supports the development of faith-based community gardens in Canada, equipping local churches to care for God's creation and build community connections through sustainable food production.

Kevin & Leakhena Knight live in Tang Khiev community in Cambodia, a village that has twice been violently evicted and displaced. They are the founders and leaders of a ministry called Manna4Life. Japan - Power to Change

Omar & Jennifer Liebowitz serve in Tokyo, Japan as part of Power to Change. Their ministry focuses on high school students. Through English conversation times, Bible studies, and a summer camp, they are bringing the message of Jesus to Japanese highschoolers. Omar is the Director of "Let's Talk". Cambodia - Develop Our Village Economy

Brian Maher serves with DOVE in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. DOVE serves to develop and empower emerging young church leaders in Cambodia so they might become relevant, informed, and missional leaders, prepared for the new challenges the Cambodian church will face in the light of globalization. In addition to supporting the above goal, Brian is specifically involved in men's work as such a forum in the Cambodian community is practically non-existent.

Deric & Amber Moen serve in Málaga, Spain as part of Church Resource Ministries, an organization focused on creating movements of committed followers of Jesus by pioneering new ground among the unchurched and unreached. They are actively involved in coaching, discipling, and training young leaders to follow and love Jesus, and helping them grow in their personal sense of calling and mission within God's kingdom.

Lynn Ogata works with DOVE in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. DOVE serves to develop and empower emerging young church leaders in Cambodia so they might become more relevant, informed, and missional leaders, prepared for the new challenges the Cambodia church will face in the light of globalization. Lynn serves as the advisor to the Cambodia staff of DOVE and mentor to the students of DOVE's ONYX Leadership Development program. She also serves as the liaison between DOVE and the ESC churches.

Sharon Walraven works with Outreach Canada, an organization that works to equip churches and other Christian organizations across Canada with tools so they may be more effective at providing opportunities for people to grow as disciples of Christ.
