We've planted a garden along 10th Avenue, and have shared the produce and the joy of growing food with people in our community who do not have access to enough nourishing food.
People who attend our meal programs named it The Healing Garden. This name seems rather profound, because gardens are places to grow our relationships with each other, God, and His creation. We all face challenges that push us beyond our ability to cope and, just like a seed that is planted in good soil, we can experience nourishment, healing and new growth.
