Big Idea: In this passage a paralyzed man and his friends have an encounter of healing with Jesus who heals his body and forgives his sins. When we encounter Jesus he brings healing: the healing of our bodies (physically and mentally) and the healing of forgiveness (a healed relationship with God). This healing is a foretaste of coming transformation when our bodies are resurrected like Jesus’ own.
