Storytime with Darrell Johnson (event has already passed)
This is a family event!
Kids will enjoy a pajama party for two hours while parents stay in the building for a parenting workshop: "Storytime with Darrell Johnson". Darrell will be speaking on "Telling Our Children the Story That Makes Sense of Every Other Story". (Parents must remain on premises and spaces for children are limited.)
A popular conference and retreat speaker, Darrell has also served as the preaching pastor for a number of Presbyterian congregations in the United States and Canada as well as Union Church of Manila, Philippines, as well as serving as Adjunct Professor of Preaching for the Doctor of Ministry program at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.
For the kids (age 2–grade 5) we will have movies, popcorn, games and crafts ready to go, so be sure to have them wear their pajamas and bring their stuffies. (Suggested donation of $10/family can be dropped off with your child on the evening of. If you prefer to donate online, simply select "event fee" at tenth.ca/give and mention "Tenth Kids Pajama Party" in the notes)
