LiveWire is a free after school drop-in program for grade 5–8 students in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood.

The goal of LiveWire is to create a safe environment for local kids to adopt a healthy vision for their lives–by learning positive behaviours and lifeskills, and by building friendships with peers and adults.

LiveWire is open 3–6pm every Friday from September through June while school is in session. Students are transported from school to LiveWire then home.

Free to students, LiveWire depends on generous donations from people in the community. We're always looking for volunteers, mentors, and financial support. To partner with LiveWire in developing healthy kids–and a healthy neighbourhood–contact LiveWire Director, Alvin Ram
