Advent is a season of preparation, a journey towards meeting God-With-Us ~ Immanuel - an encounter which will change us forever. Join us for an imaginative journey with the Wisemen, who were drawn by God to leave all they knew to follow the promise of a new King.  When they found Him, they were overwhelmed with joy and worshipped Him with all they had.  How did the baby of Bethlehem change everything?!

Our evening together will include creative story-telling, times of guided prayerful reflection, and opportunities to share with others how God is inviting you to meet with Him again this year.  A quiet but rich time of preparing our hearts to receive Jesus once again.  A gateway to a Christmas season which is truly spiritual, not just sentimental.

This event will be hosted at two locations on different evenings:

Thursday December 1, at Tenth West Side site (2733 W 41st Ave)

Tuesday December 6, at Tenth Mount Pleasant (11 W 10th Ave) - Upper East Hall, Entrance C.

These evenings will be facilitated by Mark Anderson, a local spiritual director with a passion for helping everyday believers to experience God's Loving Presence.
