One more reminder that CREO is not running this Friday as our team will be taking in the Youth Workers' Conference this weekend! Pray for us as we discover more of what it means to impact the next generation of Tenth.

We'd also love for you to consider supporting your teenager's volunteer leader's registration. You can do so by clicking here! THANK YOU so much to those who have already given.

While CREO might not be happening this weekend, there are some other really exciting things happening at Tenth we'd love for your family to check out!

This Friday, February 2nd at 6 PM is a showing of the movie “Sight,” a remarkable Christian film that beautifully intertwines faith, work, and science in a compelling biopic. This film is not just a watch, it's an experience that will inspire and challenge your perspectives.

The film was shot right here in Vancouver and features our own Leanne Chung, Associate Pastor at Tenth East Van, as a cast member of the film! She will be hosting the film screening alongside Dr. Ming Wang, one of the producers and the person whose story the film is based on.

The movie is currently un-rated as it has not reached the theatres yet. The organizers did mention that it may not be suitable for children under age 10 due to its length and serious themes. The family room (with a live feed of the movie) will be opened to accommodate families who need to come in and out.

Then on Saturday, February 3rd starting at 5:30 PM is Taste of Mexico!

Come experience a simple taste of Mexican food while you learn about Rancho El Camino in La Paz, Mexico, and hear from a Tenth team (including our own CREO parent and staff member, Marie Lee with her daughter, Zoe) that will be going there in mid-February. This is a new step in Tenth's vision of Spiritual Formation, which has been a long time coming since the trip was originally planned in 2020.

The evening will feature food from Maria Cortez and The Tamaly Shop on Main Street. Maria will briefly share her story of resilience and creativity as she developed her profitable business during the pandemic, and working with her sister who needed to flee Mexico.
